Member Since: March 2004 Posts: 5 Send Message	I would like to find out about my mums family the McGills it has been so difficult to get off the ground with it. I know originally they came from a Cavan and Sligo in Ireland, and my mums family (her grandfather i think) moved to West Yorkshire, Batley seems to be where they first moved to . My Grandad Frank married Dorothea Johnson, his father was a William or Thomas and married someone called O'Gara in the Batley area which as a coincidence was another family from Cavan/Sligo so whether they were famiilies travelling together .
