my father who died on 7th march 1965 and was cremated at etham crematorium on the 15th march 1965. Is there anyway I can find out more information as to his death other than his death certificate? of which I`m waiting delivery, any help would be appreciated, a special thank you to Bernice who has helped my get this far.

get in touch with the crem ask them who the undertaker was, they will have lots of info, like hospitals if he was there, even a house, they keep address's, to send bills too as well, i recently got in touch with the local undertaker about a issue in 1928 they were very helpful.

hi Wayne,
I lost my Dad when 8, yesterday I thought I was 6 when he died, yesterday I thought he died in a car crash, today I find he took his own life, in answer to your question, the information I would like is, Why has truth been hidden from me for 42 years. but I need find out who I should be asking the questions, relatives on my Mums side either wont discuss or are not about anymore, so I`m asking you guy`s where to start thats it mate.

Have you tried the local newspapers . there may have been a report of an inquest with more details as to the circumstances at the time
