Really struggling on my Grandparents both born and died in Hull

John Harrison 1928 married 1949 to Beatrice ada leaming 1931 - 2001(beatty)

Children: John, Janet, Christine, Valerie, Kenneth, Kathy, Jaqueline, Michael, Tina

Any information would be greatly appreciated for them and/or their parents x

No census was done in 1941.

Any other way of finding out information? He was born roughly 1940

Have you got any certificates so you can work backwards.

Christopher, have you any idea when the children were born? If you have, you need to check the complete BMD index, at that time the mothers maiden name will be on the birth index.
This will help find the marriage.

start with what you know and work back

when were you born?
your birth cert will have both your parents names on,
then trace their marriage cert - that will tell how old they are and their fathers names, the find their births,

their birth cert will have both parents names on, then find the parents marraige

and so on, ad infinitum

Thank you all for yourhelp, found out that the maiden name is Leaming. Children where bornfrom 1950 onwards and almost one a year
