please has anyone access to Portland prison records Devon? George Wickens who was born and lived in Rotherfield Sussex is in prison there 1891 census his 3rd child was born 1886 his 4th child 1894 so in prison between those dates want to know why. His inlaws were living in Devon at the time name Burgess which was no doubt why he was there but wife home alone 1891 please any help appreciated Trish |
