A lot of Ireland’s records were destroyed in the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin during fighting between the Black & Tans and the IRA. |

Try the following website for details of Donegal census records for 1901 and 1911 also cemetery records in alphabetical order and emigration records to America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. There are records for schools on the website. Good luck with your search. |

I'm trying to find some (well a lot) info on the Irish side of my family, but don't seem to be having much luck. Does anyone know if there are any websites for irish births/marriages/deaths? Because information is so thin on the ground at the moment, I'm looking for 20th century records |
