Jaimie try contacting other members of you family, they may have a lot of info that would help.
My Grandad's younger sister's daughter had a pile of stuff including certs. Dad's younger sister knew a whole load more than he did!
This could save you a lot of money!

Jaimie you at least need an aprox date of birth for your grandad plus where he was born if possible.
You are then going to need to order a birth cert which will cost you £7.
It will depend on when he was born & how common a surname he has on how much success you have in finding his siblings but again you are going to have to be prepared to buy certs.

i know my grandads name was bertram oliver caskey, he had a twin called leonard and older brother called frank, i would like to know who their sisters are aparently they moved to austrailia, also i would like to know my grandads mum and dads name, pretty sure dad was frank but who was mum?
