Thankyou very much for that info Tony, really appreciate your help with this.

With her birth place listed as Southampton on the shipping records it gives me another avenue to check because I couldn't find her in London.

Thanks again - Genevieve

Hi
Can anyone please find Eliza Close on a passenger ship to Australia.

Eliza was born about 1825, on her death certificate (1916) in Adelaide it said she was born in London UK and came to Australia in about 1853. She married a Thomas Duce in 1855.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
