Hello,

I'm trying to find a George Powell Ashton and this is what I know about him:

Born 1900 in Saddleworth, Lancs.

Brother to Ada Ashton, Alice Ashton, Charlie J Ashton, Susannah Ashton & Harry Ashton.

Son to George and Ada Ashton

He married in the early 20's to a lady called Kate Laney. He had a child in 1925 with Kate called Kenneth.

They divorced early-mid 30's.

From this point, he appears to vanish!

Does anyone out there know what happened to this chap after the mid 30's?!

I'm hoping for perhaps someone who maybe a relative of one of his brothers or sisters?
