Does anyone have access to the newspaper archives relating to Lambeth in 1883?
My 2 x great grandmother Elizabeth Mersh [mn Hills] died on 13 June 1883 from scalding.
An inquest was held on 16th June 1883. The coroner was William Carter.
I would love to know more details about this tragic death. She was only 44 and left several children.
Thank you for any help.

These may be at the archives at London Borough of Southwark - about 10 minute walk from London Bridge.

If so, they have contact details on line and are very helpful. They won't look stuff up but they can clarify if they hold the relevant papers.
