Looking for ANDREW JAMES BRANNIGAN (c1932)

I am helping my sister in law to trace the Father she never knew.
He was called Andrew James Brannigan & we believe he was born in 1932.
She knows he was Irish but is not sure where abouts he was from.
He was one of several children & we believe he had other children of his own.
My sister in law (Caroline) was informed several years ago by letter that he had deceased, but she would like to find out more about the father she never knew.

Her last memory of him is meeting him in Belfast, when she was about 4.
Caroline is now 38 and living in Manchester.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
