Hi, We're looking for my husbands great great grandfather. All the information we have on him is: William James WOOD born 1809 in Kent. Was in Western Australia by 1844, and died in WA 1874. he had a brother named John.

Anyone who can help please?

Cheers
Shaylee

still waiting on the marriage certificate to arrive from WA. Not sure if Western Australian marriage certs from 1844 will have much detail though- there were only about 100 people in the region at the time and most certificates have a lot of "unknowns" on them.
