Roberts / Jones - Im struggling again !!!

Hello

Thanks for the email. Turns out it wasnt them.

The 1871 census for John and edward has been transcribed wrongly !

Robert i found boarded out age 17 months with a hughes family.

I then got Robert all the way up to 1901 when he was married and has 3 chilren and the daughter is called catherine. he also has his dad john living with them age 63 so a nice story.

I have got John born derwen back to the 1851 census but as a servant and not with mum and dad !!!! But i think its him on the 1841 census with parents thomas and Grace but not certain.

So im still not quite there.

If i have found the marrige shown as cardigan registraars district vol 11b page 3. Where do i get the marriage cert from as the one ive been give i suspect could be wrong or incomplete.

Thought i had posted this earlier but cant find that let alone what im after.... AH !!!

John Jones ( my GG.Grandfather) married Catherine Roberts 1/2/1862 at Bettws Gwerfil Goch.

They had Edward Jones my G.grandfather in 1862. They also had Robert Jones i on 27/10/1869. Several months later Cathrine died on 6/5/1870.

I think -only think- Catherines father could have been Edward.

I got the marriage certificate but it only told me what i already knew apart from the the witnesses were David Jones and Anne Roberts.

Census records confusing me as i have a John Jones born in Derwen as a widower (correct) with a son called Edward bornat Hafotty Newydd Bettws Gwerfil Goch (correct) but wrong ages.

Im trying to find out who John and Catherines parents and family were so i can try to go back.

Also i suspect there were more children between 1862 and 1869 as there have been in the other parts of the families !

Any help or ideas please
