I am trying to trace details of Henry Sloan(e) who was a lieutenant in either the Royal Navy or Army in the early 1800's. His wife was called Elizabeth and she is shown as being 56 in the 1841 census living in Manchester with several of her children, including John, Horace, Sarah, Henry etc. Henry Sloan(e) the father of the family is not shown on the census and I cannot trace any further details of him. Some of the family were born in Lisburn, Ireland, including Horace who was born there in 1821. |
