Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 6 Send Message	married William Leonard Morris and became Dorothea (Dorothy Ethel) Morris. Her mother was a SIERRA ? Spanish and father Henning or Hemmings ? German. Dorothea was born in South Africa in 1906 and had 9 brothers and sisters, I have 8 of these names, although two seem to be nic-names!! I am interested in finding my 'Sierra' and 'Henning' Hemmings relations, can anyone help me please. I know they came to England on a Ship from South Africa, Henry and Wife 'Sierra', Dorothea, and at least a few brothers and sisters, so I would think they all came? A second ship, sailing at the same time, was bombed and the rescued joined my families Ship. Conditions for the long trip were cramped and food was very short. On reaching England, they stayed with friends or family in Hampshire, then moved to London, 'Henning/Hemmings' and wife 'Sierra' had a Grocers shop in London, which was bombed during the war and hasn't survived. My mother ,Dorotheas daughter, has no more info and I am stuck, after just beginning! Can anyone help me? Thank you, Caroline
