	Hi fellow searchers, I'm at a dead end, so if anyone has a John Davies, born 1912 (or possibly December 1911) in their tree, perhaps they would be kind enough to give me some information, particularly the mother's maiden name and the place of the birth. This would let me discard some of the many John Davies born in 1912. Thanks Dorothy

	Hi Vivienne, I don't think this is the person as John's marriage certificate shows his father as Albert (deceased) Thanks anyway - another one I can take off the list! Dorothy
