I am trying to find the death of my Great Great Grandfather who I believe died at sea between the years 1848 and 1860 ,can anyone suggest how I go about looking for him. Thank You.

Hi Joan, try LLoyds shipping register,they have records of ships and crew dating back for centuries,hope this helps.(just type their name into google)
