Robert Young, born in Folkestone 1876, married to Alma and, some time after 1901 went as a Salvation Army bandsman to USA or Canada. Looking also for his brother Herbert G. Young (known as Bert or Bertie), born in 1885 and went as a Salvation Army bandsman to Australia.
The parents were James Young (1846/7) and Elizabeth (1842) with siblings named Florence (1872) , William,(1880) Thomas (1875) Annie Rosetta (known as Rose). All were from the Elham, Folkestone or Capel-le-Ferne area of Kent and were active members of the Salvation Army.
