I'm hoping to find any relations on my fathers side.
He was Claude Chapman born 1910 Barton in Irwell.
His father was Frank Chapman b.Sheffield 1883 who married Bertha Higginbottom (or Green) in Openshaw, Manchester in1909.
His grandfather was Claude Chapman born Sheffield 1858 who married first Annie Crookes in 1877, then Frances (don't know surname) in 1891.
His great grandfather was James Chapman (b 1823) who married Harriet (Conroy?)
Hope these names ring a bell with someone!
