Looking for the marriage of Robert Stephenson born 1835 Gateshead and Margaret Young born 1835 Thurnton, Durham. Married about 1866 - think they then lived in Benwell, Northumberland.

Yes, I can see Daughter 1867 Benwell and Son 1869 Benwell - just cannot find the marriage.

I couldn't find the daughters birth either, i wonder if they havn't been registered as it wasn't compulsory untill 1875

Possible she was married before - I have their first child born 1867 making her about 32.

There are a couple of possibilities on Free BMD

Dec 1865 Morpeth
There is a Margaret Young and a Margaret Stephenson both on the same page, maybe a mistake in transcribing

or

June 1868 N-O-T
There is a Margaret Young and a William Stephenson on the same page

Search done in Margaret's name.
