Hi Erica.

So sorry I haven't got back to you before, just found your message. Hope you find this reply. Been tracking other branches of the family! All I know about Richard Evans is what I have put in my earlier message. Shall wait to see if you get back to me. I know this will now be a long shot. Any info you can find will be gratefully received as I said before.

Hi there.

This could be him. All I know is that his father (also named Richard) died before the marriage in 1872. Many thanks. I presume there were many Richard Evans In Llangendeirne at that time.

My apologies to you and anyone else who has done a look up for me. The correct date of birth was about 1850-52 not 1847 as I put in the original message.

Can anyone out there help me please.

I am looking for a Richard Evans born about 1850 in Llangendeirne, Carmarthenshire.

All I know is the following:
1. that he married a Sage Jenkins of White Hall, Llangendeirne on 29 December 1872.
2. he was living at the Red Lion Inn at the time of the marriage
3. their marriage certificate shows that his father, also named Richard, was deceased as was her father John. They were both farmers.

Has anyone access to the 1861 census which hopefully shows Richard juniors mothers name and possible siblings?

Any help will be gratefully received.
