What was your maternal grandfather's name? I have a John Davies who had a second wife called Mary b c. 1873 and lived on Wirral

Have just found out that she was my maternal grandfather's sister.
Nobody seems to know what happened to her.

The only information we've got is that she married and had 4 children. Her husband, name unknown, wasn't very nice by all accounts and the story goes that he was shot by one of his own men during the war (presumably 2nd).

I know it's a long shot but somebody must know something. Her parents were John and Mary (nee Owen) Davies.
Any info gratefully received.
