Heybourne family Twyford Berks

I am trying to trace my grandfather who was born about 1866. All i know is he lived in Twyford, Berks, his father was a Horticulturist (gardener)
His name was William. He went to SA to fight in the Boer War with British Cavalry and married my grandmother in South Africa

William snr is an Agricultural labourer..

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I have just found it as I did not know I had to go back into the message boards and look at my message. I am new at this and learning !! Please help me how to I go further - do I look for birth certificate first ?
Many thanks for you help I am so grateful - am 72 and not so good on the computer !! I have managed well with my Dad's side but have very little on my Mom's side
