Edward Smith, bootmaker Gloucestershire

Hi, I'm hoping to place two Edward Smiths, father and son born approx 1860 and 1880 in Gloucestershire, possibly Clearwater or Coleford.

Both were apparently bootmakers, the younger was Edward George Smith and he had a brother called George Smith, plus he married Annie Louisa and they had children called Hedley (b1905), Stanley, Ernest, Evelyn, Iris and Nelly(?), all emigrated to NZ around 1909.

Any help will be appreciated!

EDWARD SMITH married Annie Louisa Adams Oct/Dec. 1903 Monmouth Registration District Vol.11a page 65.

Brendon,
On the 1901 census we have:
George E. Smith, head, age 49 yrs. Coal Miner Roadman b. West Dean, Glos.
Elizabeth Smith, wife, b. West Dean Glos.
George Smith, son, age 21 yrs. Coal Miner Roadman b. West Dean
Edward Smith, son, age 19 yrs. Bootmaker b. West Dean, Glos.
Ellen Smith, daughter, age 16 yrs. b. West Dean, Glos.

with George Smith, son age 21 yrs. Bootmaker was crossed out and Coal Miner Roadman inserted instead.

The were all living Broadwell Lane End, Coleford..
