One of the parents was called Sunday?

There are quite a few with that name on freebmd birth search.

Bye the way hubby rang the church today and got the vicars husband lol.

Seems funny saying that. lol.

She is away until thursday, but he was very helpful.

But and there always has to be one with Emily Dorothy

A lot of the records for the church got burnt , would you believe it.

She had to be buried in a churchyard that has some arsonist going around setting fire to it.

He has invited us to an open day Saturday .
And took our number and is going to get his wife to ring Thursday.

So who knows hers might not have been burnt.

And i emailed the tredegar Library about Newspapers ect.

They haven't replied yet. lol.

to be honest it looks like generic text.... like the type of baptism written above it, it's just not filled in?

It a transcript of a site i go to which is in valuable to me for my hubbys family

In 1841 census england

there was 218 Worgan in England and 160 where in the forest of dean area

So think that makes them Foresters .

i would say maybe looking at it again, that the person who booked the ceremony was the father, hence memoranda son of, referring to the fact it's his son thats being baptised? might it say nephew of if it were his uncle booking it maybe?

I know it cost a fortune does'nt it.

I had to pay £45 just to be told that emily was born in liverpool lancs.

I wish they'd reduce the price to say 5 pound because you'd get 2 for a tenner then

Must admit i loved getting them.

I love the death certificates best because they are interesting, and as a child you'd hear so and so died of tb or whatever and you think i wonder.

Then when its confirmed you can feel a bit guilty for doubting them.
