Hannah, I can't solve any of your questions,but I can add a little more confusion.My g.g.g,grandfather Randle Walton married in Stockport in1803. He was a weaver,so presumably lived in Stockport, but he and his wife Elizabeth [nee Pownall] had their 6 known sons christened in Allostock Pres. church.I'm assuming he originally came from Allostock. Have you ever come across him? |
