I'm trying to find my Gt Grandfathers birth/ death details, James Payne Davies (don't know if Payne middle name or part of surname) he was born 1853 in Rotherham Yorks, father William, married Betsy Evans from Northwich 10/08/1873 in Eccles Manchester,(my grandfather was born in Salford) they had 6 poss 7 children he was a puddler of iron in the iron works he moved around the country,1881 census they were living in County Durham, in 18891 census they had settled in Warrington and remained there although several addresses are recorded. mainly Sankey/Bewsey area's |
