I noticed a couple of possibles in Hampshire on the IGI. No chance the family, or just Joseph, could have moved to London for work? Is he still alive in 1841 so you can get his county of birth? |

Yes, that's just what I was going to say - honest (About IGI that is, you're not thick at all). I agree the 1851 would be much better but he might not have lived that long, or you might get lucky. |

Only a little bit of help but please look at the name Sibbles as well..They do get mixed up in this surname as we have it in ours..My SIBBLES are originally form Greenwich,London then end up in Manchester.. |
