Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 938 Send Message	Hello Please could some kind person try and find Richard Parkinson b 1816/17 and his wife Jane b1817 in the 1841, 71 and poss 81 census. They are both born in Preston, Lancs. i have the family in the 51 and 61 census in Preston. tried everything to locate them but nothing. Children are........ Charles 1841...... margaret 1843..... john 1846...... jane 1848...... james 1850....... richard and thomas 1858. Doesnt help that its a common name in preston! Thankyou Sharmala.

	Maybe he wasnt married at the time of census night in 1841? Census night was 6 June 1841. 1st child born 1841!...maybe late that same year? Just a thought... Gerri x

Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 938 Send Message	Richard married Jane Preston in Preston! in 1838 this i do know, there first child was Margaret born in 1838 she died in 1842 so they should be about in the 41 census. thats what is so annoying plus the fact that they dissapear after the 61 census i havent got a death cert for richard or jane as there are far too many id be spending a fortune!

The family in the US looks promising though, id never thought that maybe they had emigrated ill look into that more although its doubtfull Sharmala.
