Hi, I am trying to find any info that may help build my tree. I live in Australia so I do not know much about England. Searching for a JANE ELLEN JONES born abt 1879/80. Her parents were DAVID BORN ABOUT 1851 AND ELLEN JONES BORN ABOUT 1851. JANE Jones had a daughter MEINWEN JONES (my connection on husband side, born 1899) father unkown. In the 1891 (residents Abergele, Denbigshire, Wales) census Jane had siblings of John W Jones, Born abt 1871, Sarah A Jones born abt 1877, Mary E Jones abt 1884, Maggie V Jones abt 1886, and David Jones mother born abt 1810.
In the 1901 census Meinwen Jones is living with her grandparents David and Ellen Jones. Living at Amity Cottage, in the Denbigh County. Also living with them is a son David Arthur Jones born abt 1893. In the 1901 census JANE ELLEN JONES was a servent in the area of Cardiff, district of Penarth.
Jane Jones went onto marry to whom uknown. Meinwen went onto marry a Alfred Hutchins in 1922, and migrated to Australia. I am told that Meinwen had half sisters and or brothers. Perhaps if you have a Jane Jones in you family tree, or any of the other names please make contact. Wait to hear.
