Trying to find Jones

Hi. I am trying to find out more about the family of Thomas Jones, who was born in Shoreditch, London in about 1826. He had a sister called Emma who was born in about 1835. His parents were Robert Jones and Rebecca. Thomas was a railway engine driver who moved to Liverpool with his mother and sister somewhere prior to 1851, by which point it appeared his Father had died. He married Jane Mumford, whilst his sister married a William Fazakerley. I am trying to find out the maiden name of his Mother, Rebecca, who was born somewhere around 1801, but have hit a brick wall so far. I know nothing of his Father, except his name and the fact he was a butcher at some point. I don't even know when or where he was born! any help would be appreciated. |
