I am interested in two ladies, both called Isabella Chapman and both born in Leeds. The elder Isabella was born around 1808 and her maiden name was possibly Simpson. She was the mother of the second Isabella who was born around 1848. There were 3 other children Jane born approx 1833 and, according to the 1851 census was of 'weak intellect' Robert born 1837 Hannah born 1842. It appears that both of these ladies were born and lived nearly all of their lives in Leeds. The younger Isabella had a daughter called Lillie and possibly a son called George but I can find no record of a marriage. Lillie Chapman married James May Vernon in 1898 Please contact me if any of this fits in with your family
