hi my grandad was raymond thornton from that area maybe born around 1938 he then had my uncle raymon jack he als had my mum susan leslie belive he had some brothers 1 who is named harrold any info would be nice |

Hi, I'm Jacklynn McGrath, nee Thornton. I'm in the process of tracing my family and doing so-so. My father was Jack Thornton and he married Brenda Scrafe (nee Bennett). His mum was Annie Thornton ans was one of 11 children by John and Hannah Thornton. John's parents were Samuel and Ann Thornton. They seem to have all been from the Leeds/Bradford area and mostly worked in Textiles ('The Mills'). If any of this seems familiar, please get in touch. Cheers Jacky |
