My gggmother, Bridget Kirwan, married James Murray. Bridget was born in Co Wicklow Ireland in 1845, beyond this and the fact that they had two daughters, Sarah and Bridget and two son's Thomas and John I know nothing. Can anyone help ??. Donal McKenna |

Do not know whether there is any connection but my grandmother was Elizabeth Kirwan and was married to John Kearney on August 14th 1916 in Roscrea, Tipperary Ireland, my mother was Bridget Kearney born 25 March 1924 in Coatbridge Scotland, it was the Bridget that made me think there might be a connection, but I suppose it was a common name in Ireland. |
