hello joanne i saw your message RE leonard thompson and who died in the 1960"s in north yorkshire i am also trying to find leonard thompson "nickname" rainbow who was up here in scotland 1943-44 on wet landing training on troon beaches .he was in r.n. commandos or royal marines is there a possiblty it was him .merry xmas ian martin |
