Have you done a tree on GR? I was trying to find you by searching [search trees] for Claire's grandfather but the name didn't have any matches. His name is on my tree so you could try the search see if anything comes up.

Hi Linda think this is the right Alan as he was born in 1923 and married a Gwen (Gwendoline) which are my wifes grandparents, Paul is her father and Lorraine is her auntie, think George died at a young age as my wife has never met him only heard about him, don't know much about George. Can you please tell me how you are connected to my wifes family as she wants to know thank-you bill and claire (Alan Taylor's granddaughter)

I don't know Alan's date of birth, but my mother thinks about 1922 & he was married to a Gwen & their children were George, Paul & Lorraine.
Since posting my request I have found that William's father was called Charles [1854], & his father was also called Charles [1819].
Bill, Do you think it is the same Alan?

Do you know what year Alan was born? As my wife's grandad was named Alan and i think he had quite a few brothers

I am trying to find information about WILLIAM TAYLOR who married MEHETABEL OVERSON [in March 1914 I think]. They had six sons - FREDERICK, RONALD, WALTER, ALAN, HAROLD & HUBERT. They lived in DONCASTER, YORKSHIRE.
