Marion Trying to find information on my grandfather Robert Lawrie born1885 married Ann Jane McVean had 2 sons Robert and James (my father). Lived in Port Glasgow. His father was a William Lawrie who married Fanny O'Brien, his siblings were James, Alick (Alexander) and Francis. Williams father was also William Lawrie married Margaret Erskine and his siblings were Robert, Alick, Beetson, James, Erskine, Margaret, Susan. If any of these names are familiar to any one I would love to hear from you. I think the family came from round the Glasgow area. |
