This is a rather old thread so Annabel may not see it..however...I can help!
William PILL(PYLL)bapt 13 Jan 1760 at Syde Glos.s John & Betty.
William PILL married Ann KIMBREY(CAMBREY) c 1782.
Marriage not found (yet!)
Ann was a sister of my 3xgt grandfather.
Children-all baptised at Shellingford Berks
27 Aug 1783-William s William & Ann
01 Oct 1786-John s William & Ann
08 Mar 1789-Mary d William & Ann
William was buried 08 Nov 1847 age 87
Ann was buried 11 Feb 1825 age 69

William PILL(1783) married Jane BRUNSDON 11 Oct 1802 at Shellingford
Children-all bapt at Shellingford
07 Apr 1803-John s William & Jane
03 Nov 1805-Ann d William & Jane
05 Feb 1809-George s William & Jane
There are no other bapt at Shellingford until 1831 when George starts!
Jane was buried 13 Jan 1822 age 45
William was buried 05 Jul 1866 age 88?
John was buried 02 Sept 1855 age 53

Can I start by wishing you all the best for 2008 and wondered whether your offer for lookups in the Faringdon Parish Records was still available.

I am looking for any PILL relation especially William b1783 and his son John b1803
Any info would be really appreciated

thanks for the offer i am looking for the birth of Florence Mary willis born in Mortimer Berkshire in 1882 the only birth reference i have found is Bradfield dec q 2c 342 what i wanted to know is who her parents were as i thought i had all the children and this name was given through a contact . The fathers name given on the marriage certificate is Jesse Willis but all the children i have for Jesse and his wife Harriet have been registered in Faringdon .

Thanks for lookinng Annabel . I t just says Faringdon on Ancestry- Children sometimes put Shrivenham and sometimes Loncot on the census - No worries - I will have to buy the certificate. Thank you for your help. Alice

Hi Alice sorry can not find any think, was Faringdon where they were married or the registration district, as lots of villages came under Faringdon. cheers Annabel

Thank you for your offer Anna I am looking for the baptisms of the Newport Children in Shrivenham in the 1840s. Parents were Charles and Anne (Ballinger) I think William may have been the first in 1845 Parents were married in Farringdon in 1843 - I would really appreciate knowing what is in the register - was thinking of buying certificate Thank you for your help Alice

Thankyou Annabel, That's been really useful, thanks for taking the trouble Later...WHOOPEE ...the Charlotte Badcock remarriage ties in with the 1841 census when an old lady called Charlotte Wrighton is living with my family - just found her 2nd husband john wrighton, downloaded his will from National Archives and ther are some of my family in it - it's all thanks to you! Hi Lulli No not on my records, but do you have the following I found on Ancestry Marriage 1851 oct qt Mary Mildenhall to James Parsons at Bradfield 1861 census James Parsons born 1830 Tidmarsh Mary Parsons born 1830 Englfield can paste this info with all their children if you wish cheers Annabel

Hi Jill nothing on Faringdon for Badcock but found lots of them on the Shriverham records but no marriage or death for Joseph but found the following Baptism Shriverham 30/3/1790 Joseph Badcock son of John and Charlotte formaly Whitehorn also looks like he was witness at a marriage for a Elizabeth Badcock 1817 also Charlotte Badcock widow marries in 1809 cheers Annabel
