Find Ancestors

Hi, My great grandma Emily was born in Nov, 1878, (I believe in Neasham, Co. Durham). Her marriage certificate says her father's name was 'George HALL (deceased)' of Coundon Grange. I have just spoken to a relative who thought Emily's parents were Hannah and Daniel SCOTT. I have checked Free BMD to find a Hannah HALL married a Daniel SCOTT in 1882. So I assume that Hannah married George HALL (had Emily), then George passed away and she married Daniel SCOTT. Could I trouble someone to do some looking on maybe the 1871, 1881, and 1891 census? It would really help me solve this mystery. Thank so much, Julie

My gt. gran used her mother's brother's name which led me to suspect the worst!
