No, Paul, you're definitely not CRAP. And how dare these people make fun of my pal Paul? I wondered if H P Allen might be a fiance so looked on the 1920 US census for Corinna Allen born England. No luck.

Hi Margaret! You don't think I'm crap, do you? Maybe she was going to visit her fiancee, in which case Allen is the name we should be searching for Tarrytown is a village in Westchester County, New York, United States.

According to the Ellis Island site she's going to join M H P Allen, 60 College Ave., North Tarrytown. (There is something else written over something before M H P Allen but I can't make it out.) Then it says 'Des? to H P Allen, affidavit presented'. She's 5 foot 5, fair complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, born Clayton. Next of kin is father S. Greenwood, Farsley, W. Leeds.

Even the best special agents have off-days! I've re-read this thread and I'm none the wiser. If she took ship to Ellis Island where else would she be but the United States? OK, maybe I'm thick.

Make sure you get the spelling right - Corinna - and you should find references to her on Ancestry. I only have UK access so somebody else will have to help you. I expect she'll be on subsequent censuses but of course if she got married, under a different name.
