Thanks a lot Alison, yet another mystery to add to my ever growing list, I had found this William with trade directories and the children should be his But he should be married to a Mary I wonder if Elizabeth is his 2nd wife and wouldnt take his children on? As I cant find his parents (They should be in Bucks in 1851!) Ill try and find a death or marriage for the wives

Thanks for looking that up for me Alison, I have one family already but dont have William or the Elizabeth aged 43 if you could look up their details it would be great. If they are a married couple it will give me another puzzle to add to the many this branch of the family has given me, William should be married to someone called Mary and have the children I mentioned in my previous post!

Hi Sarah, There are 5 Norris's listed in the Turville area Thomas 74 head Parish Relief (don't know if he was on it or administered it!) Sarah 65 wife Thomas 41 son Farm Labourer Jesse 30 son Farm Labourer These are all listed in the same family. WIlliam 14 Servant/Farm Labourer to John Rixon a Farmer with 390 acres and 19 labourers (not all living in like William). There are no Norris's listed for Ibstone. Hope this helps - if you want details of place of birth or address then let me know. For interest there are 84 people with the surname Norris listed in the whole of Buckinghamshire in 1851! ALison There are 9 CLILVERD's on the census with this spelling but none in the Eton area or called Caroline or Helena. The names recorded are: Benjamin 17 Edward 9 Elizabeth 43 Elizabeth 47 Frederick 12 Henry 14 John 51 Lucy 22 William 43 If you want further details of any of these people the let me know Alison

Roy, There is one Pallett in Chorlsbury - John a servant for James Parkinson a Landowner and magistrate. He is 36 and was born in Walworth. Tring is in Hertfordshire so I'm afraid i do not have this information Alison

Can you see if you can find a Clilverd family with children Caroline Elizabeth aged 4 and Helena Louisa aged 2. The surname may be spelled incorrectly, it is on all other records! They were registered in the Eton district.

Hi Lynette There are 30 Watson's in the Water Stratford Parish and 256 in the whole Buckinghamshire census for 1851. Do you have any more specific details of who you are looking for? Alison
