anyone require help finding info from 1901 census?will help if i can.

I've already posted my problem but i'll ask you anyway. I'm looking for my gggrandmother Ethal Radford. She was born 1n 1896 or 1897 in Mansfield. Her marriage certificate in 1921 gives her fathers name as Henry radford (deceased) i can't find either of them. Please help

I am looking for any William Watkins Pile in London (Hornsey), although this may have been middlesex at that time?. There may be one or two in the area, one living with a constance (his wife) One was born 1865ish, and the other will be his dad (if still alive) Thanks george

Dawn I've had a look on 1901 but can't find an Ethel and a Henry together. There is a death on BMD for Henry Radford aged 31 in Mansfield Mar 1899 7b 61, perhaps this is him and he had died before the Census. There is only one entry on BMD for Ethel in Mansfied 1896/97. That is Sep 1897 Mansfield 7b 121. Think you might have to take a chance and order this one.

Thanks for the offer. Am trying to find John William Henry Murray born 1887 - he was living in Bowden, Cheshire in 1922 according to his marriage certificate but I can't find him anywhere. Also Eliza Edwards born 1897 probably in Runcorn, Cheshire as thats where she was in 1922. Many, many thanks Jan White

Hi Anne, if you can find my gt grandfather, Thomas John Carroll, I'd be forever in your debt. He was about 21 in 1901 and the family home was in Taff's Well near Cardiff. However, I know for a fact that at the time of the census he was in a hospital of some kind recovering from a serious illness, but I haven't been able to find out where. Many Thanks. Peter Carroll

I have no name for my G.Grandfather but my G.Grandmother was Helen Stuart Watt (Maggie also comes in surname details -don't know why or where) Born In approx. 1863 in Lochland Street in Arbroath Scotland. She had a daughter named Lilian Watt in approx.1893. Hi Anne I wonder if you could help me to find Ann Ferry? She was also known as Annie. She was born in Fence Houses, Houghton le Spring in 1874, the eldest child of Thomas Ferry. In 1891 she was living in Middlesbrough with her father and younger siblings (mother Hannah died in 1889). I can find no trace of her in 1901. I know she married later in this year to Albert James Broadbridge in Middlesbrough - who at the time of the census was living with his daughter. The nearest match I can find is someone by the name of Annie Thompson living at 23 Kendal St in Middlesbrough with her "mother" Ann Thompson. This Annie is the same age and from Fence Houses too. Annie also married a Harry Thompson (coincidence?) in 1910 following the death of her first husband and had at least one illegitimate child prior to 1901 (also called Annie b 1897) Any advice?

hi anne, could you look for a james churchill who married carrey rouse,(year unknown) but they had there first child:james henry churchill,in 1892(he was killed in ww1) there was a florence louise,but she may not be on it, she was born july 1901,there may be thomas francis joe born 1897,and deborah mary born 1899. hope thats enough info! if it's not to much trouble, could you email me if you find anything?just incase i loose this thread.
