Find Ancestors

Does anyone have access to the american census's. I have three people in the family tree im researching that emigrated to america and dont know what happened to two of them after that. They all emigrated between 1901 and 1930. Alfred G Edwards b1890 allegedly fought for the americans and died in the Spanish Civil War. Edward Edwards b1883 dont know when he emigrated or any other info. Lydia Edith Edwards b1886 dont know when she emigrated or any other info. If anyone can help me i would be most grateful. Try this site that is doing a free trial to search ALL the US Censuses until 15 Dec. http://riversideregionallibrary.org/ You can even view the actual image for free!!! Maz. XX

Password "welcome" worked for me. Try with/without capitals maybe. Otherwise bung details on here and I will have a look. Maz. XX

Thanks Marion Have been on site and have found people i was looking for. Was quite amazed to find them, since they emigrated in early 1900's and nobody had heard from them since didnt even know where to look in usa but found them. Thanks Sharon

To Lucy If you could look info up on Ancestry for me the other site i looked on gave me the original census page to view and is very hard to decipher. The people i am looking for are Edward Edwards b 1883 London,England, Lydia Edwards b 1886 London, England and Alfred G Edwards b 1890/1 London England. I dont know when they emigrated to usa so dont know which census they will show up on. I think it was probably before 1930 though. Let me know if you find anything interesting. Hi Maz. I finally got on the library site using small welcome but can't find the people I want. My grandfather was Andrew Greenwood and he was born in 1911 and married Mae Mahoney Larson . They lived in Connecticut but I know nothing else.Great if someone could help. Nudge

Another request for Lucy: Lucy, Could you please check american census for Robert Aspinall born Bolton 1874, His wife Hannah also born Bolton 1873 and their children Willie, Sarah and Harold. All were born in Bolton. I know Harold was born in 1898 but am unsure of the other dates - believe them to be 1905 for Willie and 1903 for Sarah. Harold was married in U.S. c1920/21 and i think they were in California(San Mateo). Have been unable to trace their time at all in U.S . Know Robert came first, alone in early 1900's but to Canada and at some time was joined by family in U.S. Am a little stuck- so am hoping you can help. With thanks, Karen.

Sharon, I've managed to find one Alfred Edwards born 1886 on the 1930 census, but haven't managed to find him yet on the 1920 - the early census schedules haven't been indexed yet so I can't really search those. Thanks Christine I found one of the people i was looking for on this site for definite and possibly the Edward Edwards i was looking for but cant be certain because it gives no other details apart from his name, i know he emigrated in 1906 and this is the only one i found in that year.
