Elizabeth was 23 when she married William Littlejohns 24 in 1894. Elizabeth then gave birth to an Irene Littlejohns in 1900, there address of residence was 26 Mornington Road. There is no Irene Littlejohns in the census in 1900, but i think they may of just not mentioned her as she would of been only a few months.

YEP thats her. Don't understand why she is not on 1901 census, but then again I don't think her parents Elizabeth Ada Littlejohns (formerly Mansfield) and William Littlejohns are on the census either. They married in 1894 in city of London when Elizabeth was aged 23 and William 24, I have the marriage certificate. Elizabeths father is James Mansfield Williams father is Edward Littlejohns

The Mornington Road they resided at in 1900 is right next to New Cross station in South London

I have just been looking on 1881 and although there are the names but not them? What does it say for place of residence for parents or job? Might help .......? Jo

There is a Ada and William Littlejohn together on 1901 could Elizabeth of used her middle name and the surname transcribed incorrectly? on elizabeth and William marriage certificate for 1894. Elizabeths father James was a contractor William and his father Edward were machinists. in 1900 on Irene's birth certificate William is a Theatrical stage manager.

Found one that is a theatrical carpenter but not the right age,42, but he is living with an Ada. Can you accept excel attachments? I have run a full Littlejohns and running Littlejohn at the moment. I can send you them all if you would like? Jo

yep I can I think I know who William Littlejohns parents are. On there marriage certificate one of the witnesses is a Francis Charles Nash, and I found a marriage of a Francis Charles Nash to Sarah Jane Littlejohns. I have found a family on the 1881 census, father is Edwin Littlejohns mother Mary Littlejohns, with a Sarah Jane Littlejohns as daughter and a William littlejohns, who would be the right age. Edwin is a builder for the Theatre, so there is a link there, as in 1894 - William is a theatrical stage manager. Edwin is short for Edward apparently and Edward is Williams father on his marriage cert I will e.mail you my address to send excel documents to Thanks alot
