I have traced my great grandparents' wedding in Burwardsley, Cheshire in May 1853 and have since found my great grandfather Samson Harding living with his four sons at 38 jeffreys St Dukinfield Cheshire. His marital status is shown as 'married', but have been unable to trace his wife "Elizabeth Harding" probably born in Cheshire in about 1827. Anyone help. Suggestions gratefull re'd

Hi I had the very same problem and by chance i found the husband (in my case) a few streets away....he was listed as a visitor. Strange thing is thou..he was visiting a another woman!! If she was family than he would of been listed as brother or brother in law. Tut tut tut..disgusting. You will both find who youre looking for eventually...i do recommend doing the door by door search...you never know. Good luck Vicky
