I have the name of my gggg grandfather thomas ryman he had a son called robert who was born in 1844 and married in 1864 BUT nowhere can i find the mothers name or any siblings etc, i ahve looked on every census i know of but dont know when Thomas died so not helping me! i know they lived around the bermondsy area and thomas was a letter carrier, i only have this info through roberts marriage certificate. i also know that there is a history of twins throughout the ryman family normally boy/girl so wondered if this would help me, if any one has any bright ideas or knows of a way for me to find info or just how to stop typing! please contact me, Thanks Corrina ps email if poss as always lose where i am on here!!!!

Hi, Have you looked on the GRO index for his birth? His birth cert will give you the name of his mother. Gwynne

Hi Corrina, did you get e-mail I sent you yesterday Camberwell is only about 2 miles from Bermondsey,and ages on census or marriage cert. are not always correct.birth of robert Ryman dec. quarter 1845 Camberwell volume 4 page 77

I found a marriage in Surrey on the LDS site, in 1834. THOMAS RYMAN Male Family -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event(s): Birth: Christening: Death: Burial: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages: Spouse: MARY ANN ROLFE Family Marriage: 30 NOV 1834 Saint Mary, Newington, Surrey, England There aren't many Thomas Ryman's about either.
