I am trying to find a christening entry for Henry Barrett born around 1806, father John Barrett. I have been searching across the country for an entry for his birth. He married and lived all his married life in Hull but census 1851 says was born Gunthorpe -nothing in parish records for him at all here. i have a feeling that he was born Hull or nearby. He married at Holy Trinity in 1838. Jackie

Hi Jackie Have you tried looking at later census records to see what was entered for his place of birth? And by-the-way, where is Gunthorpe? Jeanette
