I am trying to find a christening entry for Henry Barrett born around 1806, father John Barrett. I have been searching across the country for an entry for his birth. He married and lived all his married life in Hull but census 1851 says was born Gunthorpe -nothing in parish records for him at all here. i have a feeling that he was born Hull or nearby. He married at Holy Trinity in 1838. Jackie |

Hi Jackie Have you tried looking at later census records to see what was entered for his place of birth? And by-the-way, where is Gunthorpe? Jeanette |
