Hello Lorna Ditto for me on the Skinmores although Skidmore, there are plenty. Alex's family were living at 8 Elgin St, London - father Frederick mother Ann, but there is no Alex there at the time of the census. Charles Alex's brother, went on to marry Agnes Barker BMD Skinmore so the surname seems to chop and change. Anyway Lorna thanks for your time delving for me take care Linda

Hello All I have found Alexander Skinmore in the 1901 census under the surname Kinmore, and going by his age he was born abt 1874/75 in Bethnal Green, Middx (east London). Unfortunately because the surname is misspelt ie Skidmore and various variants, cannot seem to find him in the 1881. Linda
