Please can anyone help me find Alice Johnson on the 1871 census in either battersea/wandsworth. she was born in grafton in berks c.1838. maiden name unknown, husband was Thomas Johnson. Many thanks . Rebecca. |

thank you pauline, gosh thats a lot of johnsons!! i think im going to have to wait and see what ancestry comes up with when the 1871 is online! this family are driving me potty! thomas was dead by the 1881 so i cant really track him down at the minute! thankyou anyway! Rebecca. |

I see 1901 gives her age as 66, still living in Egham as she did in 1881. As she had a 9 year old grandson in 1881 the age of 43 given there seems a bit suspect. (Not impossible of course!) |
