Charles Edward Wall was my grandfather, who lived in Cymmer Afan, and who died on 14th February 1954. I have a copy of his death certificate, which states that he was 75 at death. I have always believed that he originated from Somerset, but I can find no trace. Can anyone give me any hints please - I'm new to this. Thanks Sue Cole

Susie, Charles would have been born in 1878/1879 so I don't think that could be the one. Susan, This is from the 1901 census. I know he's about 4 years too old but maybe the informant on the death certificate wasn't sure of his age.
