Find Ancestors

I'll try and let you know everything i can think of about them! Both Arthur and Walter were born in Downham (or Downham Market) Norfolk, Arthur in 1851 approx, and Walter in 1859/60/61. This would make Walter 30 in 1891, but ive found the parents of John,Charles,Eliza,Emma,George,Walter,Arthur and Blanche, who are called Thomas and Mary, and there is a son caled Walter living with them, but he's only 17! I found a Walter age 42 in 1901, and his wife was called Kate, which fits with a Walter enderby marrying a Kate radford in Newark, 1889, so i presumed that this was their marriage! Oh, Im confused now!! Thanks for all the look ups that you've done for me! Nicola - It now looks like the Walter i found in 1901 is the same one that Maggy found, and so i can probably rule that family out, as Walter was born in Downham.

Wow, thanks very much Jill and Debbie! John's sister Eliza will be Eliza TANN, as her and her sister Blanche both married a Tann! So she was widdowed by then...didn't know that. In 1901, Walter was married to a Kate, and their daughter was 10, so i tohught that they'd be married by 1891, but i think that its the Walter born in Downham, since that was where all the siblings were born. Walter Enderby approx 32 and his wife Kate and their children including a Gladys, living in either Nottinghamshire, Lancashire or Leicestershire (they moved around a lot!) George Enderby approx 36 and his wife Ellen, living in Yorkshire or Leicestershire. Arthur Enderby approx 40 and his wife Ellen living in Yorkshire, most probably.
